Week 7

This week we will discuss map algebra and vector overlay operations.

Assignment (due 11/10):

1. I know I said we were done with the Price book but I have to go out of town and as a result we will not have class next week (11/3).  Please complete the following assignments (use the class time if you’d like).  It shouldn’t take more than 3 hours given that we’ve reviewed some of these topics in class already:
   1. Read Chapter 7 (geoprocessing), complete questions 1-7 and 9 on page 279.
   2. Read Chapter 8 (rasters), complete questions 1-10 on page 315.
2. The literature review and preliminary maps for the final project will be pushed back, new due date for them 11/10.  I will provide more detailed directions in class.
